We do not sell your personal information.
We also do not rent or trade your personal information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, Ageless Tech Academy does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
If our practices materially change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law.

Information independently collected by that organization is subject to the organization's own privacy practices.
Payment and Transaction Information
If you purchase a paid class, program, course, membership, or other service, payments may be processed through a third-party payment processor such as Stripe.

We may receive information relating to the transaction, such as:
- your name;
- email address;
- transaction amount;
- payment status;
- transaction date;
- purchased service; and

- approximate geographic location derived from IP address;
- browser type;
- device type;
- operating system;
- referring website or page;

We may receive information through providers that help us operate our website, email communications, payment processing, videoconferencing, automation, customer records, or other services.
Through Organizations
If a senior center, residential community, library, company, nonprofit, community organization, or other organization arranges a program with us, it may provide information reasonably necessary to coordinate or deliver that program.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to:
- register you for classes, programs, courses, and events;

- maintain accounting and business records;
- comply with applicable laws and legal obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
We will not intentionally use personal information for a materially different purpose without providing appropriate notice where required by law.
5. Email Communications
When you register for a class, course, event, or other service, we may send communications related to that registration.
These may include:
- registration confirmation;
- Zoom or YouTube joining information;
- class reminders;
- scheduling information;
- changes or cancellations;
- class materials;
- recordings where applicable; and
- reasonable follow-up communications relating to the class or program.
We may also send educational content, technology tips, newsletters, announcements, information about upcoming classes, and promotional communications where permitted by law.
Marketing emails will contain a method for unsubscribing.
If you unsubscribe from promotional communications, we may still send messages necessary to:
- provide a service you requested;
- communicate about an existing registration;
- process a transaction;
- respond to you;
- address security or legal matters; or
- otherwise operate an existing customer relationship.
We may retain limited information necessary to maintain an unsubscribe or suppression record so that we can continue honoring your communication preference.
6. SMS and Telephone Communications
A telephone number is not required for our standard free online class unless specifically stated otherwise.
We may request a telephone number in connection with certain paid programs, organizational inquiries, scheduling needs, student communications, or other services.
Providing a telephone number alone does not constitute consent to receive promotional text messages.
Where we offer optional text-message communications, we will obtain consent where required.
If you consent to receive text messages:
- message frequency may vary;
- message and data rates may apply; and
- you may opt out by replying STOP, where supported, or by using another opt-out method we provide.
Consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of purchasing our services unless explicitly permitted by law and clearly disclosed.
We do not sell SMS opt-in information or consent information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may provide information to telecommunications, messaging, or technology providers as necessary to deliver communications you requested.
7. Online Classes, Zoom, Recordings, and YouTube Live
Ageless Tech Academy conducts live online classes and educational programs using videoconferencing and streaming technologies.
Zoom Classes
Many online classes are conducted through Zoom or a similar videoconferencing service.
Depending on the class and your participation settings, Zoom may process information such as:
- your display name;
- audio;
- video;
- chat messages;
- reactions;
- attendance information;
- device or technical information; and
- other information generated through use of the platform.
You may be able to control certain participation settings, such as whether your camera or microphone is enabled, depending on the class format.
Recorded Classes
Some Ageless Tech Academy online classes may be recorded.
Recordings may be created for purposes such as:
- allowing eligible students to review a class;
- providing course recordings;
- maintaining educational materials;
- creating future educational resources; or
- other legitimate educational purposes disclosed to participants.
If a class will be recorded, we will provide notice before or at the beginning of the recording and will obtain consent where required by applicable law.
Depending on the class format and your participation, a recording may include:
- your display name;
- your voice;
- your video image;
- questions you ask;
- chat messages;
- reactions; or
- other participation.
If you do not want your image or voice included in a recording, you should follow any participation instructions provided for the class, such as keeping your camera or microphone turned off, where doing so is compatible with the class format.
Where participation itself may result in your identifiable image, voice, or contribution being recorded, we will provide additional notice and obtain any consent required by law.
Simultaneous YouTube Live Broadcasts
Some online classes may be broadcast live on YouTube at the same time they are being taught through Zoom or another platform.
When a class will also be livestreamed on YouTube, participants will be informed in advance or before the livestream begins.
A YouTube livestream may be publicly accessible or accessible to a more limited audience, depending on the particular event.
If your name, image, voice, question, chat message, or other identifiable participation may appear in a public livestream, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required.
Participating in or viewing a YouTube livestream may also cause Google or YouTube to process information under their own privacy policies, terms, and account settings. Ageless Tech Academy does not control how Google or YouTube independently processes information through their platforms.
Storage and Distribution of Recordings
Recordings may be stored or made available using services such as Zoom, YouTube, cloud-storage providers, or other video-hosting services.
Depending on the particular program, a recording may be:
- restricted to enrolled students;
- accessible through an unlisted link;
- available for a limited period;
- retained as part of a course; or
- publicly available when the class was expressly presented as a public livestream or public educational event.
We will not intentionally make an identifiable participant the focus of public advertising or promotional materials without appropriate permission.
A class participant's appearance in a class recording or livestream is different from permission to use that person's image, voice, or testimonial as a commercial endorsement. We will seek appropriate permission before intentionally using an identifiable individual's participation as a testimonial or promotional endorsement.
8. In-Person Classes and Organizational Programs
Ageless Tech Academy may provide live, in-person technology classes, lectures, workshops, and educational programs when requested by organizations.
These may include programs for:
- senior centers;
- residential communities;
- independent or assisted living communities;
- libraries;
- community centers;
- nonprofit organizations;
- faith-based organizations;
- clubs;
- companies;
- associations; and
- other organizations.
We may receive limited information from the hosting organization necessary to coordinate or provide the program.
This may include participant names, attendance information, accessibility or logistical requests, scheduling information, or other information reasonably necessary to deliver the program.
Photography, Recording, or Livestreaming at In-Person Programs
In-person sessions are not automatically treated as permission to photograph, record, or publicly broadcast participants.
If Ageless Tech Academy plans to photograph, audio record, video record, or livestream an in-person class in a manner that may identify participants, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
A hosting organization may have its own photography, recording, registration, security, or privacy practices. Those independent activities are governed by the organization's policies and are not controlled by Ageless Tech Academy unless we expressly participate in them.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies.
Some technologies may be necessary for:
- website operation;
- security;
- form functionality;
- remembering preferences; or
- maintaining essential website features.
We may also use analytics or similar technologies to understand how visitors use the website if those services are enabled.
If we use technologies for analytics, advertising, or other non-essential purposes that require a particular notice, consent mechanism, or opt-out under applicable law, we will implement those measures as required.
You may also control certain cookies through your web browser.
Blocking or deleting certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Third-party content embedded in our website, such as videos or social-media content, may permit those third parties to collect information according to their own privacy practices.
10. Do Not Track and Browser Privacy Signals
Some browsers offer a traditional "Do Not Track" or DNT setting.
There is currently no universally accepted technical standard governing responses to traditional DNT signals. Accordingly, our website may not respond to traditional DNT signals.
Third-party services used on our website may independently collect information over time or across websites depending on how those services are configured and their own privacy practices.
Where applicable law requires Ageless Tech Academy to recognize a legally valid browser-based privacy or opt-out preference signal, we will honor that signal as required by applicable law.

12. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Ageless Tech Academy does not sell personal information to data brokers or unrelated third parties.
As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we also do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Ordinary disclosures to service providers that help us operate our business, such as email, payment, videoconferencing, automation, website, or technology providers, are not described in this Policy as sales of your information.
If our practices change in a way that creates additional legal opt-out obligations, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any required controls before or when those practices are introduced.
13. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate business or legal purposes.
The appropriate retention period depends on the information involved.
For example, we may retain information to:
- provide an ongoing course or service;
- maintain customer or student history;
- communicate with subscribers;

- comply with legal obligations; or
- document and honor privacy or communication preferences.
We may retain limited information after an unsubscribe or deletion request when necessary to make sure we continue honoring that request.
Recordings may be retained for different periods depending on the purpose of the recording, the applicable program, and whether the recording is used as an educational resource.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, de-identify, anonymize, or securely dispose of it consistent with our legal and operational obligations.
14. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or loss.
However, no website, internet transmission, cloud service, electronic communication, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Please do not provide highly sensitive information through ordinary website fields, class chats, or regular email unless we specifically request it through an appropriate method.
For example, please do not send us:
- passwords;
- authentication codes;
- Social Security numbers;
- complete payment-card information;
- banking credentials;
- government identification numbers; or

- dispute resolution;
- contractual obligations; or

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, rights may include the ability to request:
- information about personal information collected about you;
- access to certain personal information;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion of certain personal information; or
- opt-out rights relating to particular uses of personal information.
As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, Ageless Tech Academy does not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
We therefore do not currently maintain a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link for that purpose.
If Ageless Tech Academy's size, legal obligations, or information practices change, we will update our privacy practices and provide any additional notices, request methods, browser-signal handling, or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law.

Ageless Tech Academy does not control the independent privacy practices of those third parties.
We encourage you to review the privacy information provided by third-party services that you choose to use.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our business, classes, website, technology providers, or legal obligations change.
